LEAP YEAR EDITION:
Join us as our set begins on 2/28 and travels into 2/29, we will be celebrating this “once in every 4 years” event. All 4 DJ’s have selections released in leap years focusing mainly on 1972, 1976, 1980 & 1984.

Mr Chips
Dreams of being a Hip Hop hero in the 1980s set Mr Chips on a path into music from which he would never return. Fascinated by the use of samples in Hip Hop, he started collecting music and began DJing Golden Era Hip Hop (before it was called that), later expanding into its roots of Soul, Funk and Dance Floor Jazz. After building a career in the New York City’s music industry, Mr Chips captured dance floor attention at several residencies in New York and Philadelphia, with random other gigs at major venues like the Theater at Madison Square Garden, Roseland Ballroom and Irving Plaza, opening up for pioneers in Neo Soul, Jazz, and Electronic music. These days he continues to live for the beat while running his Graphic Design and Creative Services operation in Kingston. Join him Thursday Nights 10-Midnight for Dollar Bin Radio on Radio Kingston.
Ali Gruber
Ever since the tender age of 16, Ali Gruber has been obsessively assembling a vast and eclectic record collection through her affinity for thrifting and her weakness for the elusive and beloved record shop. After moving to a small town in the Hudson Valley in 2004 where nightlife was frustratingly absent, she decided to take matters into her own hands and started throwing and DJing her own house parties with nothing but two ancient turntables and an old PA. When her friends started getting married, she saw a real void in the local wedding industry, where vinyl DJs were quickly going extinct. Armed with an arsenal of vintage analog audio equipment, a thoughtfully curated record collection, and a soft spot for sweaty dance parties, Ali’s now a veteran— DJing weddings and community events throughout the HV and beyond for over ten years and counting.

Matthew Cullen
Matthew is a freelance recording engineer, DJ, and occasional musician. Born and raised in the UK he has lived in the US, mainly in the Kingston area since 2001. Matthew Cullen has worked on albums by Lady Gaga, Lana Del Ray, Sean Lennon, My Morning Jacket, Black Lips, Ray LaMontagne, Chuck Prophet, Longwave and many others. He recently produced The Lemonheads first album in over a decade. Spinning the roots of the golden age of hip hop, 70’s funk and soul……. weird disco music and acid house…. and points in between.

Jeff Harrigfeld
Jeff owns Woodstock Music Shop and boasts a collection of over 30,000 45’s. For this special night he’ll be diving deep into his collection of instrumentals.
