3.2 FEATURING ROBERT BERRY

7:30 DOORS || 8:00 PM SHOW || $20 advance online || $25 day of

American musician, songwriter, producer, co-writer with Steve Howe, former Ambrosia band member,
co-founder of the band Alliance, leader of the holiday band December People, and lauded
progressive-rock artist Robert Berry, has announced the live touring band for the #1 Amazon and
Billboard charting album, 3.2 – The Rules Have Changed , written with the late Keith Emerson.
Emerson and Berry formed the band “3” in the 1980’s with Carl Palmer, and had the #9 Billboard hit
“Talkin’ Bout” with their debut album To The Power of 3 on the Geffen label. Following a successful
North American tour, the band began work on a second album, then broke up and went their separate
ways.

In 2015, a radio station in Boston unearthed some old tapes from the 1988 “3” tour, and released
them as a live album. After hearing that live performance, Emerson was inspired to reunite with
Berry, resuming work on the unfinished second “3” album, titled “3.2”, to be released on the Frontiers
label. In 2016, Emerson tragically took his own life, leaving behind a half-finished record, Robert
Berry with the loss of his long-time personal and musical friend, an unfulfilled contract, and a world
grieving.

By the spring of 2018, Berry had worked out the details with the Emerson estate and Frontiers to
complete and release the record. The first single, “Somebody’s Watching” (released May 22nd), sent
the album debut to #3 on the Amazon hard rock charts, and generated 7,000 YouTube views in the
first 36 hours, and over 12,000 views in the first week. Not bad for a band that was dormant for 30
years. The album was released on August 10th, 2018, and hit #1 on Amazon, selling out on the first
day, and placed on two Billboard charts. The two YouTube videos from the album currently have
over 64,000 cumulative views. The new album has met with unanimous positive international acclaim
from over 100 magazine articles, blog and website reviews, and FM and internet radio stations.
The band consists of Berry at the helm as the bassist/multi-instrumentalist and lead vocalist. Joining
Berry in the rhythm section is Jimmy Keegan (Spock’s Beard) on drums/vocals. Former “3” touring
member Paul Keller returns on guitar/vocals. Andrew Colyer (Circuline, Cell15, Prog Rock
Orchestra), is on keyboards/vocals. The band began live rehearsals in November 2018, and is
looking forward to not only performing the last work of Keith Emerson, but will also be pulling from
Robert Berry’s 30-year history of progressive rock – his work with Steve Howe, his solo work, his time
spent with Ambrosia, and his tribute albums for the Magna Carta label, which include the music of
YES, ELP, Genesis, and Jethro Tull.

With the 2019 ProgStock Festival as an anchor date Columbus Day weekend, manager Norman
Bedford (Brand X) is now booking more live performance dates for Fall 2019. We can’t wait to see
you on the road!
